PRO 164 Trunking Question

I did quite a bit of searching, and still am not coming up with an answer to the following:

Using PSREdit to program. I have all of my frequencies programmed in a bank on my PRO 164. I programmed talk groups that I want to listen to along with the text tag for each TG. Here's the problem though.. when the scanner receives a transmission on a TG in that bank, only the frequency number shows up, not the text tag.

I'm not sure if I'm programming wrong, or if there's a setting on the scanner I missed.

I don't know anything about PSREdit, but there must be a setting that allows the text tag to display. Win97 is my choice and it has a setting for that.

On the main page near the bottom center, look at the setting for Manual/Scan mode. Set that to ID Text Tag.

Thanks Mike.. have that set..

There just may be nothing going on on the Talkgroups I have programmed in..

I'll have to monitor some more and check it out again.
