Can someone tell me like I'm a three year old how to get my scanner to actually scan. I couldn't be more of a rookie. I was able to find my local police freq, but my scanner is just paused on that freq. I can't really find any other Columbus, OH freqs. I have looked over the internet, but all I see is channels and banks and the only way I can get freqs is by going to [public safety] and hitting the ^ button.
