I have a Pro-164 and i live in ontario canada i was just wondering why i cant seem to get any of the police frequencies to work even tho they are analogue ... i look under york and it i dont get how to program all the numbers manualy in to my scanner im still a newbie to this

Hi phillipperl, welcome to RadioReference

By default , trunking systems are set to Moto 800 MHz setting, which is what the York Region trunking system is.
Check out the Control Channel Only section in your owner's manual and enter all these freq.


867.1375
867.4125
867.6375
867.9125

all i Get is bzzzzzzzz sound and no transmissions
im tuned on 867.1375 curently

You should program this system in 800 trunking mode. If not it will "park" on the bzzzzzzzz.
