Pro 18 vs Pro 106

Which scanner is better when scanning P25 systems? I'm looking for signal quality/distance.

psr-800 better than both.

it has the ability to listen to the upgraded systems and it records audio directly to the sd card.

very easy to operate as well.

The more I read about the issues that users are having with the psr 800, it makes me want to stay with the 106.

Yes and no...
There is a updated P25 digital format that your pro-106 won't be able to receive, but then again it's possible that your area may not use the format.
