Has anyone noticed any issues with letting RR do your programming? I manually programmed when I first got it and worked fine less all the issues discussed around the boards here... simulcasting etc. I then programmed with various software picked my systems etc and loaded in. All software gives me same results. The 197 is not picking up on certain systems like it did when I programmed it by hand. I noticed that only control channels are selected by RR. It also seems that it is not picking up as many transmissions as it did in the past by hand. Wonder if I added by hand the rest of the channels listed for trunking. Im not impressed by any of the software to be honest except you can download a boatload of stuff at once. Is it just me?

I am in Kansas City MO. Trunked systems are Indep p25, KCMO p25, Raytown (Mot 800 analog) and a few local conventionals.

The 197 is a a CC only scanner. You should not add the non-CC frequencies because it is not designed to work that way.
