Im having a problem recording audio from the scanner. Can someone please give me a brief discription of how to do it correctly. Im recording to a Dell Laptop. Win500 is on this computer as well.

Here are some suggestions from other posts:You need to make sure that recording is enabled for every conventional channel and talkgroup. The option should appear on the right-hand side under CONV and TSYS tabs. By default, recording is disabled.

Is it enabled and a location selected under the monitor/control tab? When you press Start does it start creating audio files?

If your only connection to the PC is usb, you will get nothing. Scanner to soundcard is also needed.

Maybe some of those suggestions will help, I'm sure somebody pretty familiar withWIN500 will pop up here.
