Pro 197 --care--

Hi guys, I recently had a thread about the 197's F1 button, well, I think it is weather related, scanners are next to A-C also near window..I have the face covered with plastic wrap to preserve the face--
Question is---Can moisture/dust still get into the scanner, and if so--what to do? Reception seems ,,, sketchy?

It's probably possible but have never seen anyone report that on rr that it happen,. had mine 6 yrs & nothing close to it has ever happen
