Is there a way to change the way a frequency is shown in full instead of being rounded off? As of now 154.8625 shows as 154.8600. I would like it to show the full number.

I'm here a lot
I think you have to enable Flex Step, otherwise the scanner is set to default step settings.

Thank you for taking time to reply. I will see if I can find this in the manual.

Thanks Paul, I located it in Mark's Scanners but it looks like I will have to download a trial version of either WIN500 or PSREdit software. Do you have a preference? I'm just learning to program this PRO-197 and currently using ARC500 software which I am not to fond of. I could not locate a way of enabling Flex Step manually.
Thanks again,
George

Press PROG>>FUNC>>F3(GLOBAL in the programming menu)

Then scroll down in the "Expert Settings" until you get to FlexStep, and push the arrow keys left or right to enable/disable.

Thank you very much. Maybe in time and with help from other members I may get the hang of this.

There is an illustrated "tutorial" of WIN500 located here. If you should decided to "test drive it" you will find that flex step can be enabled under the Extended Settings tab in the upper left quadrant of the page. I'm pretty sure that PSREdit also has that setting available but I personally prefer WIN500.

Thank you, I'm working with the trial version of WIN500 right now. Seems a little simpler than PSREdit.
