I don't know what happened to my scanner/software. I have been using them for a few weeks now. Down/up laodeing have been fine. Now, (after a recent upload from PC) when I attempt to push a button on the PRO 197, I get the following 2 errors on the scanner screen and it locks up : Heap error 24C81F and Heap error 24BE21 24C5. For kicks I downlaoded the ARC 500 V1.16 and loaded a couple of frequencies into the PRO 197 using the new software. I was then able to press buttons on the scanner WITHOUT the screen locking up and giving me an "error". What have I odne to my Win500 software to cause this?
