I ave a new to me Pro 197 (and a keyboard wit a bad H key). Unrelated problems of course.
I am reading up on things and planning to get the ACR500 program. As I read the instructions, it tells me how to add items to the scanner. It there a way via the computer to review all the items that already exist on this new to me scanner. If it matters, I am in Plainfield IL, and planning on monitoring local fire.
Thanks Pete S

I see tat the H key works if I it it enoug times

yup. using ARC500 you can download the scanner's programming. keep in mind that you can save what's in the scanner to a file on your PC and i strongly suggest you do that. and when importing data from Radio Reference I again suggest you save that file to your PC. you can have any number of saved files on your PC but each time you upload to the scanner you are replacing the existing data in the radio with the new data.
