PRO-197 problem

My Pro-197 has stopped receiving any thing not even the weather service. I have win500 tried wiping out the memory and rebooting worked for w while now nothing again. My Handheld Pro-106 receives great same downloaded files. Any suggestions as to what to do? I have had it for about 18 months its was working great then just stopped.

Have you done a hard reset on the -197 itself to initialize it to factory defaults? See the section within "Additional Information" (page 98-99 of the -106) in the manual. HTH.

I know my friend had this same problem. He just did a factory reset and it worked. I know it wipes the whole scanner from everything tho. Good luck
