Hi All, I think this is the right place to post. I have owned many different Radio Shack scanners. This one is the most difficult one to program, even with the computer software. My question is...will this scanner work on a "spliter" system. San Diego City and North county use a spliter system. My Pro 96 and 2096 monitor it just fine. I have not been able to get the 197 to do so. Any ideas? Thank you, Dave

I haven't dealt with any Splinter systems, but I can give you a few recommendations. If you're programming by hand, you should set the T Tables to Splintr (this is towards the bottom of a MOT 800/900 system when programming).
