Pro 197 supertrack

Can anyone give me any information on the supertrack setting on these scanners, my local channels are all non trunked p25 and I've tried both settings and can't tell any difference, should I leave it on or off?

I thought supertrack only effected trunking systems.
I remember trying it on the CSP system and it didn't seem to make any difference.

I found this post from Don S back in '09

"SuperTrack affects how the scanner interprets/decodes voice data for P25 CAI voice channels. It defaults to "On" for P25 systems and digital CONV objects. If "On" works for you (no "motorboating" on digital voice channels), leave it alone."
