Pro-106: Pro-197 V Folders

I cashed in my 1.5 year old 106 on a 2 year warranty, and got the 197 in return. Only problem I have, there are no programmed V Folders that I saw. The 197 manual is 2/3rds smaller than the 106, lol. As I understand it, on page 50 of the 197 manual it says YOU can store in the V Folders, it says nothing about them being pre programmed. I went back to the RadioShack where I got the scanner, and asked the manger about it. For kicks and giggles, he didn't even know about the V Folders, much less how to pull them up or store within any given folder. I showed him how on mine, and he just fired from the hip saying I would need to upgrade the scanner. I suggested that wouldn't do anything for the V Folders. I finally got him to get out the remaining 5 197's he had in the store and all were the same, 0 programmed V Folders. Long winded story to ask if anyone else's 197 was the same as these or did that store receive a bad lot of scanners. My 197 S/N is 011828. Didn't think to get the other S/N's when we looked at them. On page 69 of the manual it says the 197 does come with V folders pre-programmed. However most of that data is outdated depending on when the scanner was manufactured and when you purchased yours. Mine had no current usable data when I purchased it. They are most usable when you put in what you want yourself.
