Currently not having any success listening to Virginia Beach. Utilizing a Scantenna most of the conversation is cut out after 1 or 2 words.
I have searched the RS forums for this issue, and have tried several ideas.

Was hoping to hear of others settings, utilizing the Winn500 program.

Frustration at its highest!

Thanks

Pro-197

I am in VA Beach and use PRO-197. Works great I use antener that came with the Pro-197.

The scantenna over loads the Pro-197 I use WIN 500 too.

I have activated the attenuator and it does not allow any signal through
I have just set the multi-site to stationary. Should I check "Check all CC' in every pass"?
The "T" is displaying very little.
The S and bars disappear every so often

In Win500 could you please report your settings from the Extended settings tab under: Digital, and P25

THanks

Made the changes. Still getting the first word or two, very scratchy, then it sits on the channel with no audio.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8320/4.5.0.81 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

I don't have check cc option turned on my '106. Is your '197 still hooked up to the scantenna? Have you tried using the stock antenna? What cable are you using with the scantenna? My guesses are you are either experiencing front end overload b y using the scantenna, using cable not recommended or problem with cable or antenna.

Thank you all for your assistance.
I did notice with my Bearcat scanner, that when I was about 1/4 mile from my house the signal dropped considerably. This ongoing problem may be location.

Anyway, with the time of year, work, and travel, I am going to have to place this issue on hold until after the new year. I will then have ample time to address this once again.

Thank you all again, and my the holidays be everything you want them to be.
