PRO 197 won't clone to PRO 651?

Just got home with my new $300 PRO 651 and I am trying to clone it from my PRO 197. It is not working- so either I am doing something wrong, or these two are not compatible.

EDIT: Just forgot that they need a stereo plug- I was using a mono. Mods, please delete this thread.
