i want to feed my pro 197 over the internet but i also want to remote control it if needed. is there any programs that do that?

I have never seen a remote control application, but perhaps one of Windows desktop remote control packages may suffice. For how-to audio streaming, you may want to read the appropriate RR forum as there are many threads on the subject. I also suggest reading the appropriate RR Wiki pages. HTH a bit.

I know how to stream but i want to have tags on my feed and also control it remote. right now i am using win500 and radio feed and it will only let me have tags on my feed or control it remotely.

I know there are discussions about software and tags, but I don't have the knowledge to help you. Sorry.

I am not sure if any of the programming apps can do this directly. But, you can remote of VPN into a computer that is running the 197 programming/peration app (like PSREdit500) and with USB cable attached as the audio output is feeding a VoIP stream from the scanner you can make a remote listening post with access. Just remember that you will have some lag from the display and audio.
