I have been monitoring them for a couple days or so on that TG on IP. They are are affiliated to the Noble site according to Pro96com. Traffic I have heard indicates that is who it is plus I don't hear them on the old MARCS now, just want to listen a little more to confirm for I forward it.

where do I find 54840?

If you have your 197 setup on P25 Auto and correct tower freqs the TG should show up if and when they transmit, their is low traffic that county is not that busy. Washington's traffic mostly on the Washington's Simulcast mostly but Noble can be connected. Note that I use scan all CC on every pass which slows your scan time down depending how many you have of course.

I need a little more help. IP? I am scanner illerate. Sorry for all the questions.

A shorter way of saying Ohio MARCS-IP, which is the system you are asking about.

where do I find 54840?

You're going to need to manually program the new talkgroups without being able to depend on the database for now. When agencies move systems, it takes other users listening to ensure that the database is accurate.

Bucko monitor 51584 i think OSP is going to use the 1st 3 numbers 515 and the last 2 for the post number on the IP system.

I have not seen that TG pop up here yet but been away from radio for a couple hours. Guess time will tell, need to ask my Nephew and see if knows anything (he is a trooper). Although I doubt if they tell him anything about it not to mention more important things to worry about.
