pro 2004 antenna

I would appreciate it if someone would help me build a 900 Mhz home made antenna, for indoor use, to be connected to a Pro 2004 scanner .

The 2004 is not quite as hot a performer as some of its other brothers, so you might need a small mast-mounted preamp to bring signals up to snuff (I had a 2004 for many years)

I don't have the skills for something like this, unfortunately. There are commercially made units, and I'm sure a Google search would turn them up rather readily. Perhaps someone has some ideas?....73 Mike
