I need help in using the scanner. Radio Shack programmed the scanner for my country. Now, the problem is, how do I access the frequencies? Ex. The Kearny Fire Dep is on bank 9, channel 1 at 502.46250. How do I access it?

That does not answer his question. He already has the frequencies programmed in the scanner.

Now to answer your question, Munleyj, to "access" the programmed frequencies in your scanner you have to SCAN the bank where the frequencies you want to hear are in. In this case, bank 9. So scan bank 9 and when Kearny FD becomes active it will stop on it and you'll hear it.
