Saw this fine example on eBay and could not resist. Had one back around '90, when I lived in Manhattan, certainly holds some nostalgic value. My county uses a couple of VHF freq's for fire dispatch re-broadcast and the neighboring county system is still analog T band. Radio will see some use...

Nice find! Those were very popular in their day and still frequently bring a decent price today! Toss some aircraft frequencies in and enjoy! Things were much easier back then! :geek:

I still have one and although I'm not using it, there's still plenty of things to monitor in many parts of Southern California. The one thing that I really don't care for is the non-removable AC cord. I recall listening to the FBI and Sec. Serv on it back in the good old days. FBI wasn't too exciting, mostly "... we have a good 211 in Los Angeles, any unit able to respond please identify."
