I have a Pro 2026, it has had cell mod done, but a long time ago, so i know that has not effected VHF, and i recently added a disc tap to the radio, i however do not know if the VHF was working before or not, and it can still somewhat recieve vhf, but it has to be from something really close, like the 50mhz baby monitor in the house or something, but it will not even pickup the local airport air contral tower or the weather freq. the uhf however, 400mhz up is working great. wondering if anyone knew of certain areas inside the radio i should look at to see if this is fixable.

ps- i might try this in the uniden forum later if no luck here, b/c this radio has uniden stamped everywhere inside the scanner, but it was made for Radioshack, this is the patrolman mobile 100ch 800mhz (non trunking) scanner...
