Pro-2028

My uncle has a Pro-2028 and he has asked me to program it for him. I have the software and use if to program my Pro-197. I have looked at my software and the Pro-2028 is not listed. So my question is will another scanner model work so I can program this Pro-2028?

If not does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get this scanner programmed for him?

The pro-2028 does not have a computer interface, it is direct-entry, 50 channel, manual programming only.
