PRO-2042 tuning knob

Just received a RS Pro-2042. Scanner works great however the tunning knob is not working. After taking scanner apart, knob is disconnected from the tuning knob board and the board was hanging freely in the scanner. Wondering if anybody has had any experience with this issue or has any pictures of how it should look. Thanks in advance.

The encoder is mounted with a nut under the tuning knob as indicated in the drawing.
