I have a few of the pro-2046's from an estate sale. One of them dims the display when a signal is received. I understand that these scanners are incredibly old and components may be failing. Can anyone give me a section to start? It seems to happen when worse when audio is received, than breaking squelch.
I have never seen this before. I have another pro-2046 to test and the third does not experience this behavior.

Pro-2046 backlight
The back light burned out, is there any replacement parts or a mod to install a new back light on the Pro-2046. Just curious.
