pro 2050

Hi.
My pro 2050 wont pick the control channel any more.
I know the cc is still active because I get it on my bc246t.
Any ideas?

I'd say take it to RS to get repaired, because it's obviously not receiving properly.

There are numerous possibilities that haven't been commented on, so I wouldn't say "it's obviously not receiving properly so the scanner is defective"as of yet.

Does the 2050 receive anything at all? Have you checked your antenna and all connections? Is your cable defective? Do you have the correct freqs entered? Are the correct freqs locked out? The list goes on and on...

A bit more info on what you are trying to listen to would be helpful...

If you can still hear things well in conventional, that rules
out the internal antenna to PCB disconnection that I recall
mentioned.

Check the system setup in the radio...you may have accidentally
changed something. Try reprogramming the system.

What "works in the conventional mode"? The trunk control channel that you say it "won't pick up anymore"? If you hear its data but cannot follow the trunked system, your trunk settings are incorrect. Reconfigure the trunk settings.
