PRO-2052 IDs

Hi..First post as you can see. I am using the PRO-2052 and was wondering what software would show me not just the frequencies but the Talkgroup IDs? I am trying ID Tracker but from what I can figure out this is only going to show me the IDs that I already have programed into the radio. Or is there a way to program it to trunk without the IDs put in..I have the PRO-2053 and the IDs shows on the screen but the PRO-2052 doesn't. Is there someway that I can just by scanning have to IDs show up?..Thanks..Keithmj

Run it in the "Search" mode. Should show all ID's on system. I have Digital 796 and 96 but use a 2050 in search mode for a commerical MOT system in my area. Usually just run it at night. Looking for rental radios, PVT Inv, Security and secret stuff. Good Luck

Thanks..Something so simple. I'll give that a try. But won't that just show the frequencies? Trunking start at the 800 freq and my scanner starts around 32.000 when I hit search? ..Cheers..Keithmj

I do believe Larry meant ID Search mode (where you are not using any preprogrammed scan lists), as opposed to ID Scan mode (where you are using a scan list). IDTracker will record every talkgroup encountered as unknown, and keep a running tally of how often each one is used. You will see the frequency that the talkgroup is using, but that will not be recorded.
