PRO-2052 Problem

My PRO-2052 has developed a problem with the audio. After operating
for a while, the volime suddenly goes way up and the control has no
effect. I can shut it down for a couple of minutes, turn it back on, and it
runs fine for a while; then the high volume. This is a great base scanner
and I would like to keep it going. I think it is a capacitor problem.
I ws wondering if anyone elso had/has the same problem.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

You may need to join but Sparky had a similar problem at Message #1874 Don't know if he ever got it fixed though.

If it's in warranty, take it back.
