I think RadioShack is heading in the wrong direction with this one. I'll bet we see it on sale real soon and then on clearence soon after. Hmmm.... Maybe it will be on a big discount come "Black Friday"?!?

 $169!! That's kinda pricey for my taste!! Especially for a very very low end scanner.

And so the repitition starts from the locked official threads...

Repetition? It wasn't even priced when the thread was up. Anyway, if the scanner was decently priced, it would make a decent VHF-High band scanner for my pick-up truck. But I'll wait a year or so and pick one up on ebay.

10/11: " $169!! That's kinda pricey for my taste!! Especially for a very very low end scanner."

9/19: "$169.99 for a scanner that has so very few features!!!!! no trunking, no CTCSS/DCS, no text. Good for conventional only, but is priced way too high! "

Looks like repitition to me, but that's what the owner wants.
Threads are closed even before models are out with only 24 posts on the thing...
(with the excuse of excessive posts)

Pro 2054 Missing From Radio Shack Web Site

If you look at the available scanners on the 'NEW' website, the Pro 2054 is missing. Enter Pro 2054 in the search field and you get: NOTHING. What do you think about that ????
