Given unit as present (never programmed but on/off/squelch knob has been pushed in. the two knobs wobble in the control are. Appears knob assembly has to be replaced. Any ideas of who does these types of repairs and costs. Is it worth ? Any suggestions?

I would suggest that it will not be worth putting money into it. The scanner is too old for anything except basic monitoring.
If you do want to look into getting repaired, Lentini's in Newington is another location.

Have you opened it up? Can you take a picture?

If this is anything like the PRO-163 I got from a liquidation website, The Vol/Sql knob and Headphone/PCIF was pushed in. Literally a 30 second fix to realign the board properly where the washer was and screw it back in.
