I just purchased a pro 2055 with a tap already installed, and wanted to make sure it is right i will be using it to decode pocsag with pdw. Also the internal speaker doesnt seem to work, would this be due to the tap installed? Or do I have a blown speaker, the headphone jack also seems to work ok

The tap, by itself, should not affect the speaker operation. What may be done, however, is that the previous owner used the radio to drive DSD (or some other similar software) and disabled the speaker since they only wanted the output from the software, not the noise from the speaker.

Does the tap look ok? As far as I can see its in TP4 and it seems to be decoding some POCSAG when plugged into PC

Been trying it on a sound card with PDW it works okish on one frequencies but on the one I need it to work on it won't pick up squat, and my data slicer is on its way so I'm hoping this will fix me up, I'm just impatient
