just wondering if this scanner would be good enough to listen to fire and Ambulance . also wondering if this will survive rebanding in the future.

Anyone suggest a better radio to use in the Orange county area, rather then the pro-2055

It works good in OC. I have used my 97 there which is the same radio. As for rebanding who really knows. I have seen yes and I have seen no. I do not think anyone really knows right now.
