I have a pro 2066 that has an issue. Some of the front number buttons do not work the radio works great and receives better on the conventional frequencies than my pro 106 anyone help here? does any one work on these here or know of some one who does. RS service center just want to say it to old do not want to wast my money with them.

but I will tell you I have an old Regency Turboscan800 that had the same trouble, and all it was was the keypad backplate had warped from all the pushing of buttons so I just stuck a piece of rubber behind it inside the radio to push the buttons back into their place-maybe you could try the same thing.

Another alternative to consider...ebay! I see that a few recently sold between $20-$40 and there are several currently up for sale. May be cheaper to replace it at this point.
