PRO-2096 LCD Question

Hello
I was wondering if anyone knows how hard it is to replace the LCD screen on a RS PRO-2096 and is the LCD screen readily available or am I going to have a tough time finding one? Also does anyone have any idea how much the LCD screen might run?

May not be bad. There is a know issue with the ribbon cable to the screen
Try this

Open up the scanner and remove the bottom plate and pull gently on the small locking pins on both sides where the ribbon cable connects to the board and remove the cable. Using sharp sicsors cut 1- 2mm off the end of the cable. Reinsert the ribbon cable and push the locking pins back into place.

I have fixed around 10 of them in the past years doing this. If this doesnt work then lcd screen is bad.
