Pro 2096 reception problem.

I have had the 2096 for 4 years now. It used to work great but recently it get very poor reception. If I literally drive within a few miles of the tower sites it does great. But loses all digital coverage very quickly. It picks up analog and weather without a problem. I have tried different antennas with no luck, and the programming is good as I programmed my friends and his works fine and he lives just a few blocks away. Any ideas how I can fix this?
