PRO-2096 Text Tags and Display

I just purchased a 2096 and am very happy with it for the APCO-25 system I monitor. However I have a question. Maybe it has been asked before, but I cannot find the answer.

I manually entered text for "Bank 0" as "Nashville FD." I also texed some talk group IDs. However, when I scan, none of the text is displayed. Is there a secret to displaying the text? All I see is the bank number and the talk group ID as though I never entered any text.

When you see a active talk group, press "TEXT" on the key board as there transmitting and the radio will switch from IDs to your Text......

The talkgroup id text should show up when the talkgroup is active and not locked out, but the bank tag will only display on the fourth line when you select manual and up/down arrow(or program) on that bank. Usually the fourth line is being used with other data, such as CTCSS/DCS or Trunked ID's.
