I recently updated the DSP.APP on my Pro-2096 to the latest update of U1.4.I see on the RS download page there was 3 prior updates.Do I need to download them also or does the 1.4 cover everything? I think the update took seeing it now reads the DSP.APP as U1.4 on the startup screen.Trunking is all new to me and I am trying to get the hang of it.I have also got the ARC96 software to try to make things easier.I still have yet to hear any trunking stations.Any help would be appreciated.

There is no need to apply the previous DSP updates as 1.4 is the latest and has all the changes.
You might find that DSP 1.2 works better especially if you hear a "motorboating" type sound when receiving digital transmissions. That sound is the raw undecoded digital bitstream.

Thanks I was not sure as maybe the other updates were for other reasons.They did not explain what the updates were for.They just gave a date.Actually I have noticed a change for the better since downloading the U1.4.That is when it comes to conventional channels.The digital also seems clearer.It is just this problem with the trunking.As soon as I get some time I will reset the scanner and reload it.Thanks for you help.
