Greetings, I'm attempting to keep only the first two banks of frequencies I transfer to my working folder from a preloaded bank and enter new frequencies in the remaining banks. My problem is that the bottom line of the origional text remains and I cannot get rid of it or change it. I'm programming manually, no software. I called the Radio Shack tech line and the person I spoke with could not help me. Thanks in advance.

I hope this helps...... I just looked in my manual on page 76 for my PRO96. Yours should program the same. It says you can only change the bottom line for the V-Scanner while it is in working memory, using the PGM, FUNC, TEXT. After you enter what you want and save it, save the working memory back into the V-Scanner section you want to use for that set up. If you have WIN96 you can change all 4 lines.
