Pro 2096 Virtual Control

I just purchased a Pro 2096 off Ebay for 150.00 dollars, the only thing that is wrong with it is the display does not work. BTW the date code is 06A07. Besides that it works perfectly. I have no intentions of putting any money into it to have it fixed. However I was wondering if they was any programming software that featured a Virtual Control for the 2096. That way I could have the display on my PC monitor. I use BuTel ARC 500 for my GRE PSR 600 and trying to find something similar for the Pro2096. Thanks

No, there is no PC control for the Pro-96/2096 (nor for the majority of GRE built scanners). As for the display problem, I have seen it discussed here in the forums (as recently as this past week I think), take a look around it seems like the fix was easy.

It could be Contrast adjustment needed.

Change as follows:
1. Press MANUAL.
2. Press FUNC and then 9.
3. Press UP or DOWN to adjust the contrast.
4. Press ENTER to set the display contrast.
