I have the 2096 from radio shack and also have the download cord but have no clue how to use it. Need some help to get set up to download the feqs I need. Thanks for any info.

Get yourself Win96 and then get a radioreference premium subscription so you can web import the frequencies you need to upload to your 2096(importing from radioreference makes things a whole lot easier)

Is there any other way without the subscription. money is another issue lol.

Win96 temp key Win9x Temporary Keys try before you buy

Tell me what you want to listen to and I'll make you a file to throw into your 2096 to get you started.
