The Pro-2096 will receive 700 MHz, but it will NOT trunk track 700 MHz frequencies. It is OK for trunk tracking 800 MHZ P25 Phase 1 systems.

That is correct. At the time this radio was produced, 700 Mhz trunking didn't exist. And while the frequency coverage can be opened up, the sensitivity on the opened up frequencies can and will vary widely, since the radio wasn't designed to cover these frequencies

Partially correct. Phase-I YES. 700mhz, NO!. The Pro-2096 is the base version of the Pro-96 you inquired about in a previous thread, so aside from form factor, the specs are identical
