There are so many variations of AA cells, Ni-cad ,alkaline ... etc .
What kind and brand are you using ?
If you are asking when the scanner will drain them , I'll say about 5 hours if it's a regular
type and you have the scanner on non-stop.

In a phrase, not very long. This scammer is a good candidate for Nickle Metal Hydride type batteries./// NOTE\\\--DO NOT charge in radio!! Take them out and use the charger intended for them. I use a Ray O Vac slide-open charger ant their cells for two cay and camera. I bought one of these scanners when they were new, and the thing had a voracious appetite for AA's. A bit bulky, but it worked well. T/T

Besides the fact that listening to cellular is illegal (we don't even want to get into that again) , there is not much left on analog cellular anyway. A few old hold outs and that's about it.dykhead7 said:
