PRO-433 DC power cord

I picked up a used PRO-433 scanner and it only came with the AC wall wart. Since Radio Shack is no more in my town, where can I get one online? I tried searching and came up with nothing.

Probably have to make one. The plug is a 3.3mm x 5.5mm with a 1mm center pin. Your typical laptop style plug.

I am not new to scanning but I am new to this site. I spent a lot of time yesterday reading and find that almost all of the links to software and so on for Radio Shack scanners are broken. Most due to Radio Shack going under but even many of the non RS links no longer work.

I just measured the existing plug and it shows 5.0mm OD and 3.3 ID on my micrometer. The cord for my PRO-163 shows 6.0mm OD and 4.25mm ID... so confused today.

Mic the plastic tip it will read 5.5mm. The jack will mic out at 5.8ish. The I.D. is the critical part. I have this scanner still seems to work with the rebanded analog trunk systems on Sno County. Easy to put a d-tap in.
Google arc433 for software. A old GRE programming cable should work for connecting to a pc. Other than that I don't know I program it by hand.

Thanks, I will check the OD again. I am headed to Sequim on Wednesday and they still have a Radio Shack franchise and he may have the tip in stock before I have to pay for shipping.

Thanks for the software name. I have the PRO-163 but I used a demo software and cannot get the database out of it without paying $20. I have both an aftermarket and the Radio Shack brand scanner cables. I am having trouble talking to the 163 and gave up for now and will try later. I want to download the 163 and then upload it to the 433 to try and save some typing!

Fortunately, we do not yet have trunking in Clallam County. I guess the State Patrol is next. Not sure what the Police and Sheriff plan but I hear the fire departments has started looking into upgrading.
