Pro-433 vs. Pro 163

Hey Guys,

I currently have a Pro433 which I really enjoy, however it has broken, and I think I am ready for a new one. I was looking at the Pro-163.... what do you all think.

I generally only use the scanner for local police/fire/rescue dispatch and Motorola trunking.

Any and all help is appreciated!

The Pro-163 from Radio Shack will give you the biggest bang for the buck. It is a good scanner and has excellent sensitivity. You can also program it from your pc with optional software and cable.

If you buy the pro-163 please post your reviews against the pro-433. I have a pro-433 and it is a great radio, best base radio I've ever had. I've had my eye on the pro-163 also and if it ever goes on sale I might buy one. let us know.
