Pro 46

I first got a Pro 46 way back when they were first made back in 1993.I used it a lot at my local racetrack and at home to hear the police and fire channels,Then one night I lost it at the racetrack.Never did find it.A few weeks ago I found one on E-bay.I got for $48.84 with shipping.I think that the Pro 46 is one of the best hand held scanners you can have.I cleaned this one up and it looks and works just like it did when it was new.I like the Pro 46.If you have one hang on to it.Pro 46 is the best analog hand held scanner made.

It was (and still is) my first scanner. I will use it occasionally to monitor an analog frequency (mostly air).

A few years ago, it suddenly stopped working. After playing with it, I decided to open it up to see if I could spot a defective component. Didn't see anything--put it back together and it's been working ever since.

Great audio.

It was my first scanner in 1993. The battery holder kinda cracked so I have to gently pry it out with my SAK. Still works but it's in the retirement drawer along with my 43.
