New guy...first post....very scanner-ignorant, so please don't flame me. I bought a PRO-528 and have plugged in the frequencies for Pulaski county here in arkansas. Right after that, as it scanned it showed the talk group IDs, but after I plugged in the specific IDs for my town (sherwood), it stopped showing IDs and when "trunk" was illuminated, it just scanned the freqs and nothing, if I took if off of trunk, it would scan and stop when a transmission happened, but I have no idea what ID is transmitting.
I joined the Yahoo group....just waiting for approval, but need to know how to scan the ID bank I put in.
Don't know if this post makes sense. Apparently, the whole county used the same freqs, but I only want to monitor the police and fire IDs of my town.
