Pro 60 speaker issue

I recently purchased a Pro 60, and when the volume is about halfway up, there's a loud squeal that sounds somewhat like feedback, but when the front panel that has the speaker in it is separated from the other section, it doesn't make that noise. Anyone know why it's doing this? Thanks.
