Howdy everybody, my name is Jim and I'm the new guy.

We have an old pro-62 which was reset for some reason. Is there a way to reinitialize the factory setup?

I don't think those older scanners had any freqs. in them from the factory. The manual should mention it if they did.

Yup the scanner is old but still works great and yes if memory serves me well it did have some factory test freqs. programmed into it, as for the manual it's non existent.

Here is some information about the 62. Not a manual, but a summary.
RadioShack PRO-62 Programmable Scanner (200-0560)

I purchased one of these new and I don't think it had anything in the way of factory presets.

Hi guys, sorry for the delay in replying. thankx for the replies. After some looking around the house I actually found our original manual.
Ya'll are correct, nothing was pre-programmed into the pro 62. I stand corrected.
