Pro 64 problem

I have a pro 64 that is very slow to work when you turn it on.
It wont pick up anything until its on for five minutes or so.
then it will start receiving signals. but they seem on the weak side.
Is there anything on my end that I may be able to do to fix it?
I had a problem once where i plugged in headphones and it wouldnt work through the speaker after that, and I had to clean the contact inside to get the speaker to work again.
Could there be a problem like that with the antenna?

Pro 64 Problem

If you get an answer, I'd like to know....mine is doing the same thing, turn it on and wait about five minutes before it seems to work (even plugged in the wall) ...I've had this scanner for 5 years I believe and have never had a problem! Thanks!!! Chris
