Pro 651 Motorolla type ll

Can somebody please help me program my scanner. I am trying to get the New Jersey State police north Barricks. I am having a difficult time figuring out where to program motorolla type 2. I don’t see it listed only Motorolla 800 or ufv

The scanner is not capable.

Yes.

The Uniden 325P2 is a great scanner and receives P2.

Bad advice all the way around. The OP is asking about a Motorola SmartZone Type II system, not P25 Phase II. The Pro-651 is absolutely capable of scanning a Type II system. As for the PSR-500, it literally says "APCO-25" in the system voices it's capable of, so where do you get "analog only" from?

The NJSP Motorola Type II system is an 800 MHz system, and should be setup as Motorola 800 in that scanner.

And by the way, the Pro-651 and PSR-500 are essentially the exact same scanners internally. They are both capable of Motorola Type II analog/digital as well as P25 Phase I digital.
